Hog Island Oysters & Bubbles Brunch

If you are from Sonoma County, chances are you have heard of the infamous Hog Island Oyster Company. Located on the way out the beautiful Point Reyes, the Hog Island Oyster Company’s farm in on Tomales Bay is a must stop while trekking along Northern California’s coast. Plant yourself in the sand, order some oysters and bring out the bubbles!

Hog Island Oyster Company takes great care in raising their shellfish in a sustainable fashion, knowing that oysters have a way of expressing their place of origin on the palate.  Similarly, these concepts are at the core of Virginia’s practices when caring for the grapes that go into her wines. Just as Hog Island pours their love into what they do, Ginny has poured her heart and soul into becoming one of the premier winemakers in Russian River Valley. They both share their love for what they do through their creations in the most beautiful of settings.

Lucky for us, Hog Island Oysters are the perfect paring to sparkling wine. With the last days of 2014 upon us, VML Winery wants to bring the year in with a bang. We have decided to throw a New Year’s Bubbles and Oyster Brunch on December 27th from 12pm-2pm and Hog Island has been gracious enough to come provide and shuck oysters for us! The Sparkling Wine and Sauvignon Blanc will be flowing, there will be live music by the talented Steve Pile and ticket goers will have their pick of delicious, luscious Hog Island Oysters. Plus, event goers will have the opportunity of purchasing our VML Blanc de Noir Sparkling wine at 30% off just in time for New Year’s Eve! Take advantage while you can and get in the New Year’s spirit!

Tickets are $40 a piece and includes a dozen (12) oysters with unlimited VML Sparkling Wine and Sauvignon Blanc for the entirety of the event.
